Design
SH Range is similar to the KWP/K/F Pump with improvements.
Advantages
The Pump is Back Pull Out. No pipe work needs to be removed for removing of Rotor Assembly.
Suction Liner Adjustment from outside instead of Wear Ring Replacement.
Bearings
Large Double Angular Contact Bearing at the Coupling End.
Large Cylindrical Roller Bearing at the Impeller End.
The Angular Contact Bearing takes up the Radial/Axial Thrust generated by the Impeller as well as Misalignment of Coupling.
The Cylindrical Roller Bearing takes up the Overhang of Impeller Weight.
Bearing End Caps
Fitted with Oil Seals and Spigot Seals with O-Rings.
Bearing Lubrication
Oil Filled Bearing Housing with Sight Level Glass.
Impeller
Vortex Impeller is fitted without Suction Liner but with a Fixed Replaceable Wear Ring in Suction Flange.
This is a wear part as Intake Velocity Wear is common in Vortex fitted Pumps.
This Wear Ring protects Volute Suction Inlet and can be changed as a wear part – material options.
The Vortex Impeller is used for Raw Unscreened Sewage, Sludge containing Fibre Materials.
Open Channel Impeller allow for Transferring Solids in Suspension.
Channel Impellers fitted with Suction Liner enable External Adjustment.
Suction Liner
The Channel Impeller on the ESH Range is not fitted with a Neck Wear Ring instead an adjustable Suction Liner. Clearance is adjusted to Impeller Intake. This concept allows for smooth Impeller entrances as well outer Suction Liner Adjustment to Impeller.
Closer clearance tolerance is achieved than in the case of conventional Neck Wear Rings, as there is no influence of Impeller's Centrifugal forces.
No Removal of Impeller for Machining or Balancing is necessary in order to achieve OEM Clearances.
Cost Saver
ESH – Multi Impeller Pump with Suction Liner Adjustment from the outside not only Save Maintenance Downtime but Running Costs.
No Machine and re-balance of Impeller after fitting Wear Rings.
ESH – Range Suction Liner is adjusted from the outside by means of Push / Pull concept.
Very close Accurate Clearance is achieved with this concept.
Sealing
Pack Gland or Quatro Mechanical Shaft Seal in an Oil Filled Chamber.
Our specially designed Quatro Mechanical Shaft Seal in Tungsten Carbide / Tungsten Carbide (Motor End)and Tungsten Carbide / Tungsten Carbide (Impeller End) is fitted with O-Rings sealing on Shaft at Four Places.
Spring Tension is achieved with Metal Bellow which allows for same consistent pressure throughout the Mechanical Shaft Seal arrangement. No tension variation as in conventional Spring Mechanical Seals where wire size and coil length differs in every batch.
The Quarto Mechanical Shaft Seal is Oil Submerge fitted in an Oil Chamber for maximum lubrication with an Oil Reservoir allow for Thermo Cycling.
This arrangement allows for limited Dry Running without damage to the Mechanical Shaft Seal.
The Quatro Mechanical Shaft Seal is pre-screened by two Oil Seals on Impeller neck which closes the cavity on Shaft through Back Cover.
Oil Reservoir with Sight Level Glass, allows for Oil Condition as well as Level Inspection.
