DEWATERING PUMP BD50
Belt Drive Pump - BD50 Closed Impeller
Model: BD 50 / 80
The Belt Drive Pump originated from a request to transfer/pump nuisance water left behind by larger pumps beneath the transfer-belt areas.
Concept
The pump-drive-unit has a hang bracket which fits on to the belt structure.
The input wheel shaft length is adjustable to run underneath the transfer-belt.
The weight of the drive unit acts as a counter weight producing enough pressure on the input wheel to propel the drive unit.
The belt drive pump is fitted with a flex-drive-cable to power the pump, which is then submerged in water.
An outlet-flex-hose is connected to the pump outlet.
Water is then transferred to the sump where larger pumps displaces the water.
The BD 50 Belt Drive Pump, is capable of delivering—18m Head (mH), 380 Litre/m (L/min), depending on the belt speed. No electricity is required to drive the BD 50 pump. The pump can be installed anywhere on the belt structure, and moved with great ease.
A Lock Out Belt drive, is required to install/uninstall the belt drive pump, in less than 3 minutes.
